Tai-Danae Bradley is a 2014 EDGE alum. She is currently a research mathematician at SandboxAQ and a visiting research professor of mathematics at The Master’s University, where she also directs The Math3ma Institute. She finished her PhD in mathematics at the CUNY Graduate Center and spent some time as a postdoctoral researcher at X, the Moonshot Factory (Google X). Her research interests lie in the intersection of quantum physics, machine intelligence, and category theory.

Tai-Danae is the co-author of the graduate-level textbook “Topology: A Categorical Approach.” Additionally, she is the creator of the Math3ma blog, where she shares articles to support students at all levels, from undergrad to grad. Due to her amazing work, she has been featured in multiple online platforms, such as Simons Foundation, The Cartesian Cafe, the 3B1B podcast, and Math Horizons, among others.
