The Department of Mathematics at Iowa State University invites applications for several tenure-track faculty positions with a start date of August 16, 2018. The department seeks to hire one faculty member at the rank of assistant professor and one faculty member at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor with research expertise in an area related to data science, including (but not limited to) applied topology, probability, numerical analysis, optimization, and graph/network theory.  The Department also seeks to hire one faculty member at the rank of assistant professor with research expertise in mathematical biology.
