The North Carolina EDGE Mentoring Network in collaboration with North Carolina State University is hosting a one-day symposium for women in mathematics and statistics at NC State on Saturday, April 16. The goals of the symposium are to:
(1) Build a network of local female mathematicians and statisticians in order to foster mentoring and collaborative relationships.
(2) Provide an opportunity for graduate students to present their research in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment.
