President, EDGE. Lingurn H. Burkhead Professor of Mathematics, Pomona College.

Ami Radunskaya is the Lingurn H. Burkhead Professor of Mathematics at Pomona College. She received her Bachelor’s from University of California, Berkeley and her PhD from Stanford University. Her areas of expertise are dynamical systems and mathematical modeling applied to problems in medicine, infrastructure and economics. She is the inaugural President of EDGE Foundation and has participated in the EDGE Program every year since its inception. Ami is also the former president of the Association for Women in Mathematics. In 2014, she was featured in the independent documentary film, The Empowerment Project: Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things. Ami was named the Fellow of the American Mathematical Society and the Fellow of the Association for Women in Mathematics. She also won the Mentor of the Year Award of the American Association for the Advancement of Society. Before following her passion for academia, Ami was a well renowned cellist and music composer, including seven years as a member of the Oakland Symphony.
